Four Levels of Stage Hosting

Communicating as a stage host is a unique but pivotal skill.

While the stage host may only hold the microphone for a few minutes, they are responsible for conveying vital information, leading people to take action, and ushering the flow of the worship service. Someone who hasn’t been trained often introduces awkwardness, distractions or confusion to the experience. But effective stage hosts complement the worship and preaching, bring a relatable human element to the experience, and facilitate measurable results in the form of connections and next steps.

The framework taught in this video can be used to train and develop up-and-coming stage communicators as well as to evaluate current communicators. This is an excerpt from our our Campus Pastor Training program.
